Challenge

This year I was told that it would be a challenging year for me. Slowly, things started to unfold layer by layer. And it falls back to the word of God which says "Ask and it shall be given unto you". What did I ask for?

1. Stop procastinating devotion.
- My classes this sem mostly starts in the afternoon. Hence, I have no reason to say that in the morning I've got no time to do my devotion.
- Helping out in CG requires me to be prepared, know the word of God and be right with God before able to help the leaders.
My challenge : To wake up at least 15 mins earlier than usual, get prepared and do a minimum of 5 minutes devotion before starting my day.

2. To see the children serving the Lord.
1 Timothy 4:12 Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
- Let's say I really really am not good with kids. They kind of get on my nerves and I have no idea how to handle children. What to talk to them when they are quiet? What to do when they cry? What to do if they fight?? What to do if they're getting restless?
- It's a nightmare. To obey His calling, I had volunteered myself in a children ministry. Why did I had this decision? Because, I have realised that God blessed me with a gift, that children like to run around me and so-call-disturb me. In short, I'm an attraction. -___-
My challenge : Build good relationship with the children, help them emotionally and spiritually. LEARN to communicate with them and understand them.

3. Serve in Youth Force
- At first I was informed that I'm helping the Form 1 girls group. I got stunned. Since I'm not good with children, and these girls might be still trying to adjust themselves entering secondary school. I really have no idea how to communicate with them. Hesitated at first, but I finally gave in to God.
- Praise the Lord! God is good :) He never gives something which we couldn't handle. I was a bit stressed about the children ministry, how to reach them, and about the Form 1 group also. Then again, today I was reshuffled and assigned to the Form 5 group :D Phew~
My challenge : Be an example of the walk with God. Prepare for lessons.

And of course, some other personal stuffs between me and God :)

I've post this up, is not merely just to show you, but declaring the process of my faith and commitment to God :)

All these I've asked, come to a point where I need severe time management. Balance between my studies and serving God. Commitments and responsibilities. By God's grace and strength, only am I able to do all these.
