Human are never satisfied with anything. If they were to be satisfied with the current things, there would be no improvements. An obvious example, I am satisfied with my achieved results, therefore I need no longer to improve myself in how I study. Not true at all. I agree with a phrase my mentor or the person I look up to which states something like, "People who dare to dream big will only make a difference". You become wiser and filled with more knowledge as you grow older, but there is a no end to where knowledge comes from. A 0.1 nm gap is still a gap, a gap is there to be filled. I still need an improved fuel to keep myself running, effective and efficient.
I don't see why he has the interest or passion in that field...
Then again, different people, different interest.
