Our Heavenly Father

A FATHER who is always with me

"Though my mother and father forsaken me, the Lord will receive me" Psalm 29:10

Were your parents ever too busy for you? Were there occassions when you cy out for them they were not there? Were you abandoned by a parent? Were you brought up without having your father around? A father may be absent for one of many different reasons.
  • The need to work away from home
  • divorce
  • illness
  • death

Our Heavenly Father is never absent nor too busy for you. Even though He has many things calling for His attention, He pays as much attention to you as if you were the only person on the face of the earth. Have you shed any tears lately? Do you wonder if anyone cares? God cares! He feels for you in your deepest sorrows. He is concerned about your every worry. And when you cry, He collects your tears and puts in in His bottle. Metaphorically speaking, it is a word-picture describing our Heavenly Father emotionally involved with every one of His children. You may leave Him, but no matter what happens, He will NEVER ABANDON YOU.

"For the Lord will not reject His people. He will never forsake His inheritance" Psalm 94:14

If a sheep from the 100 sheeps had strayed away, Jesus would leave the 99 sheeps to go and search for the lost one until He finds it. And Jesus would joyfully carry the sheep which was lost on His shoulder all the way home rejoicing.
