See

As I was sitting down trying to memorize my notes, I just couldn't help but to observe my surroundings.

No, my attention wasn't drifted, it was distributed and shared.

I see individuals, couples, families.

One young lady came, ordered her tuna filled crossaint with a cup of warm milk.
Kind of pretty looking young lady. She made a call, and I assume she was expecting someone.
She had her phone with her, I thought she would snap a picture with her iPhone since that's what young people do before they eat.
I was wrong, she started taking up her utensils and started eating.
Then again, I wasn't totally wrong, a few minutes later, I saw her editing the picture she took on her phone. Young people :)

An old man, with a high school girl and a little boy came.
They ordered their lunch, bolognaise, tuna filled crossaint and drinks.
Uncle was dressed pretty slouchy, holding a descent clothed shoulder bag, which I don't think is his.
They sat down, happily the little boy ate, the girl had her bolognaise and uncle had his coffee.
After the meal, the uncle went to bought a piece of cake for the girl and sat down.
Not long later, he went again to the counter and bought another piece for the little boy.
I'm not trying to say "never judge a book by it's cover",
but I was reminded of my dad, how he would buy food and things until we are satisfied. Not just enough, but more than enough :)

Parents with their young daughter, husband was rather passive, wife seems more dominant and loud.
The wife went over to the counter, she shouted accross to ask what they wanted, the husband went over.
They were there quite a while, placing a number of orders. Soups, shepherd's pie, coffee and a drink.
Wife paid, they went back and sat.
The wife was observant, she was observing the surroundings pretty obvious, where she will really stare and look without being afraid of being caught in the eye.
Both the husband and daughter was very quiet.

The particular two which caught my attention most was a middle age woman and an old lady, which I assume it's her mother.
They were here quite early, for a late breakfast I assume.
Each of them got a cup of coffee and a pie of tart.
They were having some conversation which I didn't pay much attention to.
