Often we don't really remember the little deeds people does. Well, tell me if you ever remember..
The person who pulled and pushed your seat for you,
the person who held the door for you,
the person who helped you with your books on your hands,
the person who bought you a candy/treat when you were gloomy,
the person who affirmed you by grasping your hand or shoulder,
the person who always say hi to you first,
the person who gave you a thumbs up and a pat on your back after a presentation,
the person who suddenly text you to tell you you've been MIA,
the person who stuffed your mouth with food even you don't want to,
the person who bought you a gift just because they thought of you,
the person who said thank you,
and lastly, the person who said sorry.
One example, I find small actions such as the driver was driving really really slow because it was reaching my house soon, and we were having a conversation going on. It was pretty obvious that the driver was buying time to finish up the conversation, without realizing the car was getting slower and slower. I feel acknowledged by the driver of how the conversation wasn't merely for fun or for the sake of being polite, but of some importance.
Being acknowledged by friends and people around are very important, no doubt. It brings changes in personalities to how they react and how open they are to others. Then again, remember, excessive is never beneficial :)
