I once was chosen to be a leader many years back. But most of my friends, I do mean friends, objected or opposed the decision made. I myself did not want to take up the responsibility nor am I confident at it. I guess the reason they objected was because I did not possess any leadership character. To make it sound worse, lousy leader. Or to make it sound better for me, they wanted the post instead.
Fatal reality : I was condemned by my own friends.
