Things are done very instant nowadays. Maybe it's because people are all rushing for their daily routines and work. I AM going to talk about Instant Noodles. Yeah, even for breakfast, when you woke up late, and you don't feel like eating bread for breakfast cause you've been eating for it like months. You decide to pop the instant noodle with some hot water into the microwave. *Ting* 3 minutes and it's ready to eat.
Like my brother said, "Instant noodles have saved many lives. People who wants to save cost on their meal can survive with instant noodle."
BUT, yes, although instant noodle have filled many stomachs, at the same time it is also affecting their health. I browsed through the internet and read some articles on instant noodle. It's not the noodle which is the total harm (I'm not saying it has no harm, just not that harmful as the following thing I'm going to mention), it's the monosodium glutamate, MSG!
MSG acts as a flavour enhancer, what would instant noodle be like without umm... MSG? Tasteless! Exactly! MSG which contains a high amount of sodium, which will then lead to high blood pressure and whatsoever health problem that I think you'd know.
And the noodles, which is coated which wax and it takes around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have consumed it.
There maybe arguments on why consume the noodles when you can eat something better.. I have no idea, it's just people living like this. Or maybe some people will think that not adding too much MSG will have lesser side effects.. Or cooking the noodles the right way, cook, throw away the water which contains the wax, use new boiled water. Yea right.... Nothing seems to be 100% safe to eat nowadays.
